Katie Hodges

Katie studied music at Royal Holloway College and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and more recently with natural trumpet virtuoso Jean-François  Madeuf at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland, where she was involved in the Lituus project. She is  much in demand as a baroque and natural trumpet player, performing regularly in Switzerland and with the Netherlands-based Barok Ensemble De Swaen.  As a soloist on the natural trumpet she has performed at the Anghiari festival and given many recitals around London. As a modern trumpet player Katie freelances with major orchestras, works as a soloist and  performs internationally with her trumpet quartet, Bella Tromba.
